Student Successes
Daniel Taylor
Daniel Taylor is a BA (Hons) Visual Communication student whose illustrations scooped third place in the awards last year and will pick up a Highly Commended Prize this time around.
Gargi Shastri
A UCE student has been nominated for a prestigious national prize for young journalists.
Suzy's Screen Success
Former student Suzy Aiken is becoming a familiar face to TV viewers in New Zealand.
Jonathon MacDonald has been voted Young Motor sport Photographer of the Year 2003
Victoria Smith, a third year Textile Design student has scooped two prestigious national awards for her textile design collection.
Rebecca Kitchin, from Birmingham, won the Debenhams prize for Innovation at the UCE Birmingham Institute for Art and Design Innovation Awards held on the 22nd May 2003.

Two graduating BA (Hons) Fine Art students are celebrating their success in three of the Department of Art's annual competitions.
Andrew Priest
Andrew Priest, an industrial design student at the University of Central England (UCE), has won the 2003 Colour in Design competition sponsored by the Bradford-based Society of Dyers and Colourists (SDC), the world's only educational charity dedicated to colour.
